Push notifications are alerts on a subscriber's device about a new channel post — the main argument messengers have over social feeds.
A push notification is an alert a platform shows a subscriber when something new is published, unless they have muted the channel. In messengers pushes arrive almost instantly and get opened far more often than posts in algorithmic feeds.
In practice, the first 15–30 minutes after a push are the peak of opens, so schedule important posts for when your audience is active. In MAX and Telegram every subscriber receives a push by default; the trouble starts with frequency, as daily "important" posts teach the audience to mute notifications.
