UTM tags
UTM tags are parameters added to a link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) that tell your analytics where a visitor came from.
UTM tags are additions to a page address such as ?utm_source=telegram&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=sale. An analytics system (Metrika, GA) reads them and shows which channel and campaign the visit came from.
The rule for cross-posting: give every platform its own utm_source (telegram, vk, max), or all the traffic blends into one pile. Postomat can add the tags automatically: one link in the text becomes three, each labelled with its platform.
